As we wrap up 2024, I can’t help but look back on the year with a mix of emotions. It’s been a bittersweet journey, filled with some serious clarity that I really needed. While it wasn’t always easy, I can honestly say it was absolutely worth it! Merri came into my life and changed my world for the better! I can’t imagine life without her now!
One of the biggest highlights of the year was my youngest daughter graduating from Iowa State with a degree in mechanical engineering! It was such a proud moment for me as a mom. I also had the opportunity to visit her in Kansas and spent some quality time with my oldest daughter in sunny Florida. It was wonderful to have both of them come home for visits throughout the year as well. Additionally, my youngest daughter got engaged, which brought even more joy to our lives!
In late September, Merri and I along with Lily and Morgan headed to Florida to celebrate my oldest daughter’s birthday, and let me tell you, we made some unforgettable memories! Our trip to New Orleans was a blast too—what a fun adventure!
This year also brought some wonderful new friendships into my life, and I felt my existing relationships deepen in beautiful ways. Merri also made some new friends!
All in all, it’s been a truly life-changing year, and I’m so thankful for all the experiences!
In the coming year, I will continue to grow my business. I’ve learned a lot, but I still have a long way to go and lots of ideas to share with you! I appreciate any prayers and support you can send my way! Additionally, I will be embarking on a journey called “The Bible Recap.” I’m excited to deepen my relationship with God. The Bible Recap is designed to guide you through the entire Bible in one year, organized in chronological order. You can read along, watch on YouTube, or listen online with either itunes or Spotify. I’m looking forward to growing in my faith!
